Samsung Smart TVs make great digital photo frames — they're large, the displays are sharp, and they're already on the wall. The catch: there has been no good way to display your Google Photos library on a Samsung TV. Until now. This guide walks through the setup with Easy Photo Player.

What you need before starting
You need a Samsung Smart TV running Tizen 2017 or newer (most QLED, Frame, and Crystal UHD models from 2017 onward). The TV needs an internet connection. Tips for the best slideshow experience
Select 50–200 photos for variety without overwhelming the playlist. Mix horizontal and vertical orientations — the app handles both. The free plan allows 10 views per day — enough to test. The Basic plan (€4.99/month) raises this to 500 views/day, and Pro (€9.99/month) gives 1000 views/day plus up to 5 TVs. The slideshow auto-advances; sit back and let it play. Photo selection refreshes every 7 days due to Google API limits — this takes 30 seconds.

Does this work on the Samsung Frame TV?
Yes. The Frame TV is just a Samsung TV with a matte finish — Easy Photo Player runs on Frame models from 2017 onward. The Frame's art-mode and Easy Photo Player's slideshow complement each other.
Will my Google Photos library be uploaded somewhere?
No. Easy Photo Player streams your photos directly from Google Photos. We do not download, copy, or store your library. Your photos remain in Google Photos; we only store the temporary URLs that Google provides.
